Layout of the Land

About: Here at Silver Hallow stables you will find a variety of horses and equines, from the Thoroughbred to the Andalusian; from the Mustang to the Mule. Most of our residents we have obtained through rescue programs, some we have helped overcome injury.

Location: Silver Hallows is a farm located in the Southeastern United States. More specifically, located in the flat lands of Northeast Florida, between the cites of Jacksonville and St. Augustine- the far most pasture 500 feet from the Atlantic ocean. A small river running into the ocean cuts across two of our pastures; the mare's pasture and retired horse pasture. The lush land is mainly surrounded by small wooded areas, separating it from it's neighbors. In each pasture, there is a small clump of trees and a lean-to providing shade from the sun.
Temperatures here in the summer range from the upper 90's at day to the 70's at night; durring the winter temperatures rarely drop below freezing, night or day (the high would be around 60 in the winter).
Currently we have two main residential barns, four pastures, and a smaller paddock and barn for those sick/injured.

Rules for breeding:
<sub>1. Be sure that the stallion/mare of choice is open for breeding. Be sure that your mare/stallion fits within standards, since some of my horses have specific guidelines (ex breed/size, natural or fantasy).

2. Please NOTE ME if you're interested in breeding with one of my horses. Be sure to include a link to your horse's bio. Please tell me why you choose my horse for breeding.

3. After approved, draw and link me a breed pic within three weeks. If you are unable to make this deadline, please notify me, I understand things come up. If three weeks goes by and no notice or breed pic is made, the action is considered void.

4. Remember, if you request the horse, you draw the breed pic. I will be more than happy to design the foal, but if you wish to design the foal yourself, you're more than welcome to. Just let me know first. Same with the gender. (if you want, we both can each design a foal, calling it "twins", and you can keep one or both )

5. Please keep to genetics when it comes to designs. It doesn't have to be perfect, but realistic (if you're dealing with a realistic horse. Non-realistic can have off the wall designs, relating to one/both parents). In other words: don't have a chestnut stallion breed with a bay mare, and come up with a buckskin foal. Don't make carbon copies of my studs either, please.

6. Draw your foal. I would like to see him/her grow up, it's the responsible thing to do. If you can't/don't want to keep your foal, note me, I will gladly take it.</sub>
